Cheeseburger Chowder
(makes enough for a meal + LOTS of leftovers)
1 bag of Frozen Shredded Hashbrowns
1 lb Ground Hamburger
2 Chicken bouillon cubes
2 Cups Milk
4 Tbsp Flour
2 cups water
1/2 lb Velveeta cheese
1. In a large pot boil water and bouillon cubes.
2. In meantime, in a separate bowl, mix well milk and flour.
3. Add bag of hashbrowns to boiling water and stir until soft.
4. Add flour/milk mixture to large pot and stir.
5. Place mixture in a crockpot on low. (use a crockpot liner for easy cleanup)
6. Brown hamburger. This can be done on the stove or microwave, just make sure it's ground into small pieces then add to the crockpot.
7. Cut velveeta cheese into smaller squares and add to the crockpot.
8. Let everything simmer in the crockpot for an hour or two on LOW, stirring every 20-30 minutes. (allows the cheese to melt and the soup to thicken)
SOOO sorry...I have tried and tried, and I canNOT get this picture to rotate! lol
9. Serve and enjoy! We had enough to eat supper and then put a few containers in the freezer for 3-4 other meals.
ENJOY!
