If you were sitting with me this morning, you would have seen how big my eyes were and how hesitant I was to seal the envelope....that contained the check to pay off my car!! Last month we wrote a check for a decent amount, but this month, we decided to bite the bullet and just pay the thing off. You may ask why.... NO MORE CAR PAYMENTS!!! In January we paid off the truck that we purchased last September, and this month we paid off my car. SUCH a relief to free up more money each month!
Our #journeytobecomedebtfree is moving right along and so far we have met each goal that we have set. This payment puts us at just over $52k paid off since the wedding. THANKFUL to God every step of the way. One more debt (student loan) before our Dave Ramsey Debt Snowball (step #2) is officially complete! Then we move on to SAVE SAVE SAVE (with me being an accountant, we've been doing this all along anyways), INVEST, and then PAYING OFF THE HOUSE! <I can't believe I'm even saying that.>
Here's to LIVING LIKE NO ONE ELSE SO THAT LATER WE CAN LIVE LIKE NO ONE ELSE!!
